In the bustling traffic of corporate life, employees often face the daunting yellow box junction—tasks where success hinges on timing and precise outcomes.
Like drivers who must only enter yellow junction box when a clear path forward is evident, employees need transparent objectives, and the essesntial relevant information and the assurance of feasible goals to proceed effectively.
Unfortunately, some managers, driven by the urgency of deadlines, will naturally pressure their teams to advance even without clear exits, akin to start working on the project without certaintieis around dependencies.
When the reckless move causeds "traffic congestion", i.e., "projects stall", "rework"; the manager blames the employee for lack of situation awareness.
This not only fosters a toxic work environment but also stymies the growth and morale of the team.
Managers must remember that leadership involves guiding with foresight and responsibility, not rushing through at the cost of their team's well-being.
