Understanding why people get angry and scold us is a pathway to empathy and emotional intelligence.

It requires us to look beyond the surface reaction and explore the deeper emotions and unmet needs driving their behavior.

This reflection alleviate our level of compassion and allows us to respond rather than react, aligning with the Buddhist teaching that understanding is the first step to love.

By the capacity of being understanding, we could lead with the right amount of patience, reduce unconstructive conflict, and not least in strengthen trust and matured relationships, embodying the principle that empathy and kindness are foundational to meaningful human to huma connections - family, friends and colleagues.
